Own a piece of Middlebury History
The Middlebury Historical Society has 32 wood chairs dating back to the 30’s and 40’s which were used in the old library and Center School. The height of the seat is 17″ and the back 32″, the seat is 16.5″ wide. You may take one or more of these chairs in return for a donation to the society. The chairs are sturdy and in relatively good condition, but they need to be cleaned and polished. The recipient must be able to pick them up.
Gift Shop
The Society has a number of items for sale in our gift shop. In the image below, we offer high-quality reproduction prints of the 1868 Beers Atlas land ownership map of our town, suitable for framing. We recommend Shutter-Speed Photo, located at 564 Middlebury Road at the four corners next to Meet Me Here Restaurant. We also have a limited supply of Bicentennial wine glasses, Bicentennial holiday ornaments and paperweight medallions, along with postal cards and note cards of the town suitable for framing or correspondence.
